The Birth of Iconic Energy
In December 2014, at the age of 25, Teague Dickey, founder and CEO of Iconic Energy LLC, was looking to move on from a successful year as owner/operator of Teague’s Machine Source. He sat outside a restaurant contemplating the advice he received from a mentor: “Whatever business you choose, be sure to offer products that are essential.”
As he looked around and noticed the stop lights, streetlights, business signs, and people on phones, Teague realized electricity powered everything he saw. Hit hard by this realization, he set his mind on researching what type of products he could offer (geothermal, wind, or solar) that created electricity. Solar energy made the most sense. After a year of testing various types and brands of solar equipment, Teague settled on the products he would offer, and Iconic Energy Solar Professionals was born.
